My three year old and I watched this morning. He had two live chickens in a two man boat with him my son thought that was sooo funny! His point was to take your family fishing no matter how inconvenient try to enjoy every minute you have.

anything that gets kids to watch fishing is great in my book

Yep need to get them out in the woods and on the water . Need more kid friendly shows about the outdoors.

I also think his show targets the kids/youth. The show I DVR'd kept my 14 year old interested. That is a hard feat to accomplish considering he cannot stand watching the (in my opinion)great informative shows. I think it simplified things and unlike dad who complicates fishing with too much technical information.

The trips to the stock tank in the back of the pasture with one pole and few lures of their choice in my opinion have been some of the best.

Without the youth we are a dying breed.

he sucks; if it is for kids then get it off an outdoor program and put it on cartoon network. It needs to be pulled now.

I like his show, I guess I am in the minority. Good humor,some fishing, a short bus, what else do you want.

The show is great..... But my fishing partner is my 7 year old son.. Fishing isnt all about being serious... Fishing is about having fun.. I think some of you guys forgot that part!!!

He was on Bass Talk Live recently talking about how bad fishing shows were and saying his show was different. Something about a Glass House comes to mind. That show may be the worst ever.

I like it. yea getting past alot of silly stuff, he does explain his ideas more than some shows that just catch and release.

Have not been able to sit through the first 30seconds of that show.
My kids won't even watch it!

He is a great fisherman, his show is different, very funny, yet informative. I think he is trying to get the point across that you can have fun fishing, and don't need the $80,000 worth of boat and equipment to catch fish. and I agree he is targeting a different age group of viewers, but my wife and I enjoy it every week.

Bottom line is, if you don't like it you have the choice not to watch it.

My fishing partner is 6 and the Fish Fishburn show is his favorite. There are other fishing shows I like much better but Fish's show makes us both laugh.
