Dont go at night. Go very early in the morning. We have historically caught more fish between 2 and 5 a.m. very early in the morning. Of course we usually didnt get out there till about 8 at night and then we would fish all night. PS the old man fell and fractured his wrist so he is hanging around talking to everybody instead of fishing.

Hey, good to hear from SQ. Ok, Pezz and Sam, let's decide Saturday. Are there four bridges out of Scotland or three? Depends on whether you count the second bridge which usually has no water under it. I'm always curious about how different people count them.

Thinking about hitting the state park tonight, what time do they usually move in? I work nights, and got called off tonight so works great for me. are the lights on?

Pezz, Sam said Saturday night with a question mark, so I don't think we are fixed for a fishing match Saturday. I'm gonna call it off. I will whip the two of you some other time. Maybe we can get more people to come so we can get to know one another.

That's ok I have a faucet leak that I can't find parts for and my last shot is Lovetts Plumbing, open from 9- 12 tomorrow. Or I'll change the entire thing. But I will fish tomorrow just can't in AM.

Just talked to the old man and he said that there were so many people under the third bridge today that he could not find a fishing spot! He went back to the first bridge and fished about 10 feet deep and caught 3 good keepers and turned back 5 small ones in about two hours. Just remember that if you fish the first bridge DO NOT SIT ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER! There is a very large snake den under those rocks and the snakes are huge!

yep, that confirms it, gotta gas up the boat and see if my truck will get my boat out at that ramp.

We went to the third bridge last night and there were three boats and about 7 or 8 of us on the bank. The guys in the boats were doing much better than the rest of us. I already saw some snakes on the rocks. Be careful if you are not in a boat. They aren't very active yet.
Last night red head and white body worked the best for me. The bite was very light.

I went and tried out kickapoo for the last 2 weekends and yesterday fished out at the southweeks park me and my friend caught our limits in 3 hrs. Haven't had any luck at kickapoo so tommorow where going to try out the bridge at lake arrowhead hopefully we get some.
