i went to grapevine on friday after work, went to my usual spot and found something very disturbing. As i was fishing and there is a Mexican man who could barely speaks any english with his wife throwing nets and keeps everything he caught. i saw him caught about 10 small sandies, 2 or 3 small large mouth bass and even one catfish. I decide to call the game warden but if i do call and by the time they show up this guy would be gone so i decide do nothing.

One side of me is sympathetic, thinking the guy is just trying to get some dinnner. The other side of me is ticked, thinking the guy needs to obey the laws like the rest of us do.

CALL THE GAME WARDEN
Immediately if not sooner. I hate to be hard-nosed about this subject but this is wrong. If they are ignorant about the law, it will be a lesson they do not forget.

Was this guy near Twin Coves? If so, I saw him last night before sundown. I saw him from a distance so I couldn't see his catch. I assumed he was catching bait. It looked like he had a blue cast net.
Keep it wet.

Hasbeen, Everybody assumed he was catching bait, but you don't cast for hrs to catch bait and no fishing equipment. The reason i saw his catch is i am right there and he cast his net over my line lots of time. and he did pretty good job of hiding his catch. He threw his catch to his wife and she put them in the bucket.

this more disturbing - is set up my lights (2 1000 watt spotlights) last night to do some generator fishng for trout under the hwy 36 bridge in freeport,tx. some punks stopped on top of the bridge and started throwing those orange highway cones into my light. then about 30 min later they came back and started throwing beer bottles into the water off the bridge and were trying to tear out some kind of electronic instrument that measures water depth. there were also a group of guys near me that threw in every beer can that they drank into the water. I soon just got very discouraged so i just packed up and left. What the hell is wrong with people? and where are the police when you need them?

Why sorry for describing a man from Mexico as Mexican? Texas - Texan /America - American.... if that Mexican does it again call the law.
