The lake is less than 3.5ft low? I'm hoping it gets down 5.75-6ftish again.

+1. And about Meredith, the lake is currently at .47 % full. They closed the lake, and fortunately, Lubbock has stopped pumping from it. I've seen fork lower, nothing to be worried about IMO

Makes the lake smaller and concentrates the fish. It was high last spring and we had a nice sand bass spawn. I'll take it low!

At the peak during the drought year both ramps were fine. All of our slips except 2 are out at 5 foot.

Pumping water out isnt a huge issue if we get normal rainfall.

Fork has only dropped a foot since October. The lake had been holding at ~3.5 foot low for about a month now. If it goes to ~5.5 foot low by August, I expect the pucker factor will start embellishing itself if Dallas is still pumping steady.

Ill be hoping for some serious rain.

JR is right, you guys shouldn't be complaining until you see some of our lakes like Ivie, Twin Buttes, Oak Creek, etc... I can't even launch at Buttes now only the smaller lighter weight aluminum boats can float at the ramp safely.

At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Not true, You can still safely launch a Twin Buttes, also the city came out and made parking access for the secondary ramp out there. But I do agree that our lakes need rain.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Hey, maybe a foot or so lower and someone can find my St.Croix rod and Pflueger reel for me.

Tony and Cameron are right. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any to see it 8+ feet low for a while. We could use the "new lake effect" around here to stimulate better hydrilla growth in the future.
