I always display my swap jigs. I use a document frame from Wal Mart and remove the glass. I glue the glass to the front of the frame, creating a shadow box. I just made my background that I glue the jigs too. If anyone wants to try this, PM your e-mail address to me and I'll send this to you as an attachment. You can then print it on a piece of card stock. Scott

That is a great idea Scott. But if I had done that since like many of us, I have been in so many swaps I would have several walls covered solid with frames. I have all mine organized in jig boxes by color. I take out all the dividers, use a length of pipe insulation sliced in half in each long section. holds the jigs in place and I can find just the one I want to use.

I've got 10 frames going along the top of my tying room now. Before long I might have to come up with a different system. LOL

There's not a bad system for jig swap jigs.
Scott has it down for preservation, but I'll admit, I copy some, fish some, loose some, and pass some around, but hopefully they all will get wet, or make us better tyers at some point.

Ha Ha, there's no telling how many times I've taken one of the frames down off the wall and given a jig a close look. I've definately wanted to fish with them, but for now, I'm proud to show them off.
