I still have some, used them last a couple of years ago at the Eagle Mountain "Casino" slip. For a couple of weeks there, I was catching the slabs with two 1/64 Fle-Flys in tandem. Seemed to work better than anything else I had. I tried it because I saw a guy doing really well at La Mancha with tiny Fle-Flys.

what are they? where do you get them? I talked to an older gentleman at waco one day, he said that was all he used, but wouldn't tell me where he got them from.

Back in the day...when I was just starting jig fishing, these were the premium jigs. I would nearly cry whenever I lost one. I don't think they make them anymore, maybe RonH will find out.
They are a jig with the hook eye coming out of a oblong, kind of flat head at about a 45 degree angle instead of 90 degree. They were really good jigs.

They were different, with the odd shaped head and hookeye angle, but I think they didn't have a thing on JigUms.

I have never tried Jigum Jigs, I have used the LFT baby shads and Gibson Tackle Jigs, I have also tried some Deer Hair ones that work pretty good.

Lakeside village marina on lake whitney has some. I do not know if they send out mail order but you could call them. They also make hand tied jigs there and they are great! I saw some last weekend at Lake Lewisville fishing barge. I went to bass pro tonight and bought stuff to make my own. You could do this and save some money. It is actually kind of fun.

The first jigs I ever used were fle-flys that I bought at the old Lake Worth barge in 1969, they cost a quarter a package of 4 . You can still find them at Olsen's (I believe), but cost $2 a package of 3.

Just talked to J.H. he said the 90 deg eye and angle make the jig run straighter & if tied above a slab line wont wrap around it, said he didn't figure it out the guys before him did. He sold it to someone in Amarillo

My uncle shoots docks with them. I don't see them working well while vertical jigging. They don't sit horizontally. I need to get some for sure.

The grey one and any variation of blue used to murder the white bass at Gorman Falls in the 70's. Lots of good times camping and fishing there.
