Sign up will begin at 5:30 AM Saturday morning and end at 6:45 AM. Official start time will be 7:00 AM. You can also join the club at that time.
FWAC will kick off the 2011 season on February 19th.
All tournaments held on Eagle Mountain Lake

Details below:
• Tournament dates: February 19th, 2011; 1st Saturday of each month, March through October, 2011. Championship in November. Open tournament TBD.
• All contestants must be a member of the Fort Worth Angler’s Club. Annual cost is $45.00. This gives you unlimited access/use of the boat ramp and club facilities. The club is gated and secure.
• The tournament will be an individual format. Entry fee is $30.00 which includes big bass. Optional $20.00 side pot. FWAC encourages junior anglers. Boats may have up to two junior anglers; only 1 fish from the junior anglers catch may be contributed to the total weight of one adult’s stringer.
• Director to set start time at each event.
• Weigh-in; all boats must be within the no wake area in front of the FWAC by 3:00 PM.
• 5 fish stringer/limit – All largemouth and smallmouth bass must be a minimum of 14 inches – no length limit on spotted bass per state law. Short fish will not be weighed; contestant may be subject to disqualification at the director’s discretion.
• Dead fish penalty will be ½ pound deducted from total stringer weight.
• Trailering will be allowed. Each contestant must be checked in and entry fee paid prior to trailering.
• Each contestant must have livewell checked prior to take-off. (discretion of tournament director)
• Artificial lures only, pork trailers allowed.
• Fishing by boat only and in areas accessible by boat; boat must have a functioning livewell.
• All state laws must be obeyed. Any ticketed contestant will be disqualified.
• Any person caught cheating will be disqualified from all club tournaments.
• All fish will be live released.
• Tournament Director has full discretion over rules and any clarification. Protests must be done prior to conclusion of weigh-in.
• Championship Qualification: Must fish at least 6 regular season events to qualify.

Everyone come on down. The tournaments are fun tournaments and the membership will save a boat load of money in launch fees  .

Well....how did it go today? I wanted to be there but I am having an ethanol issue with my gas and couldnt get the repairs done in time. I hope to be there in March. How was the turnout?

Do you get unlimited access to the ramp if you join? 24/7? You get unlimited access, it is behind a locked gate with access limited to members and their guests only. There are 2 or 3 days a year that the ramp will be closed for special activities. Come join the fun.

Our next scheduled tournament is May 7th which is the same date as the BLT which is also out of West Bay. Suggest we move to May 8th.

FWAC this coming Saturday June 4th - signups from 5:20 AM to 6:00 AM fishing will start at 6:10 AM.
$30 Entry ($5 to Big Bass) - $20 side pot
FWAC annual membership - runs January 1 to December 31 - $45.00 for adults, $5 for kids. Best ramp on the lake!

The tournament has been canceled for this coming Sunday due to lack of interest/participation. We may have one in December but more than likely we're done until 2012.
