I have the FT Amphibians and I hate them. The Jackets fit really small and the elastic always comes up when you're seated and driving. They don't breath well at all.
Finally broke down and bought a 100mph suit.
If you're willing to spend a little bit more than Frogg togs- wait for the Goretex pac-lite to go one sale- much better product.

I think they are great for the med rain ... now cold wind, driving rain, sleet, snow - need guide wear from Cabelas. Coat Pants/Bibs

They don't last very long. Mine got fuzzy the first time I washed them and started losing their ability to repel water.

you get what you pay for.
Its a nice light weight suit, but if it actually starts to rain hard, you will be wet. +1

Bibs help but you will take on water at the sleeves and neck. Perfect for the summer but not for the COLD rains of the winter. I like mine when there is a heavy dew no matter what time of the year. They are pretty cheap so I'd say get one but you will need something better if you fish winter rains

If you enjoy getting soaking wet in the rain while fishing then you need to buy the Frog Toggs. Total JUNK!!!! I agree, they are JUNK. I got wet the first time I used them. I gave them away. Spend the money on a REAL rain suit not a paper suit.

I bet I spent $500 on cheap rain suits through the years before I finally broke down and bought guide wear from Cabelas. I have had them for 14 years and never been wet and they are still good. Frog Togs were just one of the cheap ones that were a waste of money. First trip with them I blew the crotch out of them.
I am sure Bass Pro 100 mile n hour are good too. I just dont like all the logos all over them.

You need something else for the winter. You will get wet if it is raining. I have a frogg toggs set and won't be buying another set.
The zipper will corrode up REALLY badly if used anywhere near saltwater.

Any one that says they love them has not been in a down poor while wearing them or a constant rain. They leak!!!!!

Waste of money, worst rain suit ever. Threw mine in the trash and went and bought the light weight BPS Gortex suite.

Theyre good for summertime rains because they breathe and you wont get too hot in them-seem to only last one season and theyre done.Theyre also good to wear as a windbreaker and keeps you dry when water splashes while running the lake.

I got a light weight rain suit at Cabelas in the bargain bin and I wear it more than anything. It is non-insulated so I can wear it when it is warm out and when it gets cold I wear a hoodie under it. When it is real cold out I go to my BPS 100mph suit. I got the 100mph suit before BassCat began selling their version of it. A buddy of mine has one and I would get that one in a heartbeat if I didn't already have the 100 mph suit.
