(Fireant not sure when they started this but being a club you must be a member and then you have access to the ramp but as far as just paying a fee to use it i dont think so might want to check on that)
i didnt say anything about a fee to launch. become a member and launch all u want for $100 a year or less if ur a senior Unless something changed, it is only $45 per year to join!

Hey FIREANT. I'll sign you up at the club for $100. LOL.
Just like Johnny and Larry said it's $45 a year with the 1st year costing a whole $1.00 more for the key deposit. You have to be sponsored to get in. Best deal on Eagle Mountain Lake PERIOD!

Is there an afforable boat launch in Boat Club road side of the lake. Went to Harbour One a couple years back and had to pay fifteen bucks for launch plus my buddie had to pay to park his truck. Was thinking of starting to fish that lake would like some info of where to begin my search for sandies this summer. Any info would be great. Thanks On the boat club side you have Harbor One and Lake Veiw Marina both charge $15 on the weekend, but as of a couple of months ago Lakeview only charged $10 on weekdays.

Look up LCPOA.ORG depending on where you live you may qualify to apply and use the Lake Country Ramp. fee is $100.00 to 140.00 depending on your residence status per year. It has a security gate , launch docking and the ramp is not to steep.

Prob my favorite on the lake.

Be careful with Shady Grove. Last year my buddy tried launching his boat there when the lake was low. It was a pontoon boat and once he backed up far enough to get the wheels in the water---all of the sudden the trailer dropped about 1.5 feet. He had found the end of the ramp. Luckily he pulled up and the wheels came up on the ramp again.
Be careful out there.

There was a big article in the azle paper a couple of weeks ago. about the new twin points. They are putting 15 R.V. sites ,walking trails. The hold up is the boat ramp which they can't put in till the lake is about 10 ft. low.So hope they don't get to put it in anytime soon. Johnny I wonder why they would have to wait for the lake to drop 10 feet. They built the new LW 820 ramp with the lake full. They just built walls out in the water, drained that area of water, and built the ramp.

Here is an article on Twin Points park in star telegram posted this past week. http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/01/16/2773071/high-lake-levels-slow-construction.htmlOn the Fort Worth Anglers Club, I called them last spring to ask about membership, and the lady that I spoke to said I could come out and they would show me around. Then, if I wanted to join without knowing anyone as a member I would have to apply and interview with their board or council, and they would decide if I would become a member. They also have rules on how many times you can bring you buddies without them joining also. I never did pursue membership.

Yes they have rules which is why I like it so much. They have figured out how to keep people from taking advantage since they have been in operation since 1938. Johnny
