I am looking for a lure knocker that David Fritts used to endorse. I have no idea who made it. It had a triangular shaped loop that the line would go through and had a blue ruberized coating on it. I need help finding one.

i think lake fork tackle sells one. i saw a friend use one a couple weekends ago and it was a good one with the black reel that wasnt cheapo. it had a weight with wire chain that would go down and either knock the lure free or snag the hooks and break the hooks loose.
i cant remember if he said LFT or lake fork marina.sorry.

I keep forgetting I have one in the garage I need to put in the boat so maybe I don't need to order that other one after all. ![rolfmao rolfmao](/forums/images/graemlins/default/roflmao.gif) http://images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_020527_999_01?rgn=0,0,1524,950&scl=4.318181818181818&fmt=jpeg&id=1kHYGwuR2jP-S3XOSYVYHM

![](http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k623/DannyPool/fishing_tools_lure_catcher.jpg) Get an old junk reel and put on a broken rod , cut off rod and keep the handel only. You now have a lure retriever unit!!!! Works great, no tangled string and easy to use.

Man... seems like you've been looking for this forever. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4823441/Lure_KnockerIt's the Gripper lure retriever - David Fritts design. I don't think you can even find one of these anymore. Maybe contact David himself at his Ranger dealership in NC and see what he has to say.

For lure retrievers, I just fish with partners who can hold their breath a long time and swim down to about 18-20 ft. ![smile smile](/forums/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif)
