You're going to your regular spot, all conditions point to using your favorite lure.

What lure do you pull out?
What do you always have tied onto a rod?
What do you use when you're at a new spot and not sure if there are bass or not?

Just curious. I'm guilty of using idiot baits (lipless cranks) almost anytime I come to a place that I have no clue of where to start.

I'll ALWAYS have a Black Angel "Texas Finesse Jig" tied on. I can throw this jig in any situation. I can flip it, pitch it, cast it, stroke it, swim it, skip it, or drag it. And it offers a finesse presentation. This will catch em after they've been caught 5 times. After that id say a Lucky Craft RC 2.5 DD, i can fish the entire lake with that crank!

7/16 Talon Finnese Grn Pumlin/Gold with a Net Bait Hardy Craw Sr.! It used to be a 1/8 Spot Remover with Wat Seed Trick Worm! But my jig fishing has turned around completely!

I usually will always have a senko on atleast for a back up.
In a promising spot I'll throw Crankbait, jig, and tube.
I like to check their activity level with a fluke.
