Yeah ur gonna love it. If you can find info on the 1197 settings and shots they will be the same. No difference in the units cept the 1198 is supposed to be brighter. I own both and I don't see any difference except maybe in really bright sunlight maybe my 1198 is brighter... But they are the same and there is tons of 1197 info around.... Same stuff. Ur gonna love it!

I ordered one last night to put a HB transducer on the TM. The one I have now is what HB sent me and isnt in the same leauge as the saver.

I agree on the call why pound keys when you can talk and get valuable info at the same time.

What fastners are yall using to hold the mount down and what are the 4 little plastic inserts in the package for ? This mount is a monster.

G&S has them for like 100.00 I think for the big mount. You will not stop looking at the screen once you start it's awesome. No A/Q for me there check it stick is broke or Bills thumping the fish to relax it is crazy.

Bought the RAM-D-111U-C mount off of amazon saved me the drive to bass bro and a few bucks. Also got the Transduer Sheild Co. makin a new bracket for the transducer so I can mount it to my jackplate. The 1198 is supposed to ship ou the 24 so I should be ready to put it in when it gets here!
