Last weekend a buddy of mine went Sat. and Sun. and limited out under the second bridge both days. Monday or Tuesday @ 8:00Am we both went and had a pretty good bite until the wind picked up to a strong gust. Several other people who had been there a while almost limited out by 10:00A. You just have to be there or have someone there call you when they start. I'm new to fishing under a bridge so I show up with a 10ft rod with no slip bobbers and can't really cast to where the jig needs to be. Looks like everyone was set at about 10ft down, but the current was flowing south and the wind blowing north so you needed a split shot a little above your jig to keep it down straighter.

Hi Everybody! Where's Jerry?

Good info stehan, I'm still trying to get set up to fish under the bridges. Slip bobbers are hard to find around here, I guess I'll order from bass pro.. I still haven't checked hook-line-and-sinker.

I have been hearing about the asian guys limiting out at third bridge for the past two weeks.

Madmax, the bridges are on arrowhead lake, go to Scottland and turn left at the light to get to them. Find the Chinese guys and do as they do.

The next stocking for Plum will be the 24th, if the water isn't still toxic.

Hybrids will start their spawn at waurika in a couple weeks!

I LOVE this time of year!

Good info. Not trying to be too pc, but I believe they are actually Vietnamese and some of the best fisherman I have ever met. They can see a bobber twitch in gail force winds which is amazing.

Stefan...pm me and ill help you get set up for the upcoming crappie season.

Let the good times roll!

I don't know if they were Vietnamese, but I do know they were yanking crappie out left and right. My buddy caught about 20. These guy's knew how to fish under a low bridge. There was also an older black gentleman that was doing the same. All of them were using buckets to keep their fish in. I was using a stringer which slowed you down from getting your jig back to the water. Had one stringer with five crappie that wasn't secured swim off. Hopefully that will never happen again.

The bite is hot and heavy on Kickapoo creek out of Broken Arrow Marina(I think this name is correct) just outside of Livingston. Two friends of mine caught 33 slabs from 6:30 -9:30 on Saturday..in the middle of the creek fishing at 6 ft. in nine feet of water. They said it didn't appear to be any thing holding there..they never lost a jig or a hook. Good fishing.

Hey Everyone! Done with hunting season so I'm ready to get back into fishing starting with crappie and trout. I heard about the problem at Plum Lake, where exactly is the SW Parkway spot? Is it the newly built pond or the pond just south of it in between those really nice houses? I've heard both and no one can tell me for sure which it is. How are the crappie reports for Arrowhead?

Thanks Guys!

pezz, better look up your fish facts, dont think any hybrid is going to spawn any time in the near future.
