OP Jefffish Angler Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 342 Pittsburg, Texas	About 3 weeks ago, I was on Monticello, mid day, way back in Smith Cove. Engine would not start....I tried everything. Two fellow fishermen came by, saw my dilemma and offered to tow me back to the ramp. I took them up on it and they towed me ALL THE WAY to the ramp at idle speed taking at least 30 to 45 minutes. I offered to pay and they flatly refused...telling me "been there, done that...needed a tow myself once or twice". Thanks to those guys. Yesterday I was on Lewisville and had just recovered my boat at the Little Elm launch ramp when a LE policeman pulled up and asked me if I wanted to go back out. I thought he was kidding but apparently they received a distress call from someone on the lake, broke down and needing a tow back to the LE ramp. I was happy to do it. Launched again, found them and towed them in. They tried to pay me and I flatly refused. Sometimes, paybacks are great. Tucson
