Two weeks ago I went out to put some crappie in the freezer and while I was paddling to my spot I saw water boiling next to a log. Paddled over to check it out and it was 18 live and healthy crappie on a stringer that was caught on the log. Nobody around, I hollared out, "Anybody lose a stringer full of fish?" No answer. I dropped the fish still on the stringer in my cooler and paddled on to my spot looking for people on the bank as I went. Never did find the owner but with those fish in my cooler already I limited in 15 minutes and changed tackle to a wacky rigged worm and caught LMB for fun the rest of the day.
