Can someone give me some info. on Millers Creek Res.? What are the bank fishing or tube fishing possibilities. Looking for crappie or white bass. Thanks.

When I woke up this morning here in Fort Worth it was nearly 50 degrees. I turned on the TV and saw that it was 25 in Wichita Falls with a 25 mph wind. You guys live just a little too far north. Seems like it gets both hotter and colder there compared to Fort Worth. The cold front is here now so those crappie are going to have to wait a few days.

vetro..... ya i noticed about a month ago!!! haven't been back there since!! should be getting restocked here in the next week or two!!! i been fishing over at the new pond on southwest parkway!! been doing pretty good!! there are some nice size trout in there!! i stopped by there yesterday and my fishing buddy there was still catching a limit, he was the one in the blue jacket on the news saying he is still catching his limit, the other night!! when we going fishing again??? i like that lil boat of yours!!!

Reelexcitement.... it is pretty cold out there right now with 20-30 mph winds!! i had to scrape the ice off my truck windows this morning this morning was 25* with a wind chill of 18*

Millers is a little east of Munday. Its on the Throckmorton and Baylor county line.
Southwest of Wichita Falls.

As far as Miller goes, there is not much tubing to be done right now. As the spring arives however there are a few spots where one could be successful.

I'm new here been stationed here for about 2 months now. I now know why I havent caught anything in plum lake all month stupid algae. I asked the gamewarden the other day why there where so many fish floating around and he told me it just happens sometime. I went to kickapoo last weekend and today one keeper fish both trips. Its hard moving to new places and having to learn how to fish a new place all over again. Anyone know if I should fish Arrowhead instead of kickapoo for crappie? If so where do I go to fish for em on Arrowhead?

Oh boy, I can't believe this thread is still going. Now that hunting season is over, I'm back.

Anyword on Scottland bridge? Was thinking about heading out sometime soon, might pull the fishing gear out this afternoon.

i talked to a guy this morning at the lake on swpkwy and he got 12 crappie at the Henrietta bridge yesterday!!
