I had the same thing happen this spring on Palestine. Was idling thru stump field and all of a sudden ran up on a stump and just stopped. Stump ended up going up thru the hull 6-8 inches. Was unable to get it pulled up off the stump. Had to go to Walmart, buy a saw and had to cut the stump off. While pulling the boat back to the ramp ran over another stump that punched another hole thru on the other side. It was a very long day trying to get the boat back to the ramp that was less than 1/2 mile from where we were stuck. Took probably an for two taking turns trying to cut it off both times. Sure takes all the fun out fishing.

I saw one sunkin boat in that cove(pulled a nice fish off of it) and Another one across the lake. Im pretty sure there are a hand full of them sittin on the bottom of that lake.
