Carey read my pm and chose not to reply. RR and others mod did the same.
As Carey says, "you're silence is an admission of guilt"
I won't publish my "questions".
And to let everyone know...
I've sent hundreds of people to the LMF with flies and gear over the years. I've fished up there many times. I've raised money to support the river. I have fished with guides and never had to explain how a reel goes on properly, had the guide take a pic of me with a fish, then he takes a pic of the same fish, then post the pics repeatedly. The guides I have used support there fishery and fish it year around, not just when the stocking truck comes around.
Carey, you may be a great fisherman, but to claim youreslf a fly guide is dishonest to the people that read this board. The people that call you out (and there have been plenty thru the years) are flyfisherman to their core and love this sport. I've fished with several and your name inevitably comes up. The same stories are told and people shake their heads.
I'm done with this. GEEZ, LOUEEZ!!! Now you want to go and hammer on my friend and moderator of this forum... You gotta be kidding me!! Buddy, you have a real chip on your shoulder about something!! GO FISHING and forget about trying to beat a dead horse!! I have hired guides all over this world and worked with a number of them in Alaska. Some of them I would call my friends, and some of them I wouldn't call if the house was burning down. It's a shame to see you (or anyone else) beat a guy down for doing something he obviously loves and seems to make a decent living at. My hat is off to Carey Thorn for what he does. My friend and moderator of this forum, Robin Rhyne, is WAY above your sarcasm, and I know him well enough to say he didn't WASTE HIS TIME by replying to your PMs. Your petty gripes and accusations have been shot down and nullified categorically here on this open forum, but for whatever reason, you just won't back away nicely and GO FISHING! I HOPE you're "done with this"... SHEESH! JR

Thank you everyone for your input. Let's drop the parts that aren't about fishing and carry on.
Life's too short to not simply enjoy!

Very aware of the situation at Texoma and other bodies of water across the US, Rex. My surprise was that Scott would join into the fray, and start the ball rolling down the "is Carey licensed or not" road that has been traveled many times before.
That's it for me... be nice if this thread could get back to what Carey intended.
