Oh good grief. He showed me a pic of his license. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Get over it. This isn't Drake.

He sent me a pic of it. I have not had a free trip for him to guide for me. But, yes, he has offered to guide for me. ( a free guide for a half day) Why are you so set on causing friction? It is the holidays, and why not be merry? I like to get along with everyone, and usually I do. Live and let live, life is too short.

He has ALWAYS been nice to me. When people are nice to me, I am nice back. I think fly fishing, and fly tying people for the most part, are the best people in the world to hang out with. I have always been loyal to friends, even ones on the net. I think 99.9% of the people in this forum are "good people". It is my birthday, so I am done talking about this. Over and out.

I am growing tired of y'alls petty bs so hopefully this will put a stop to it for a while... So, does TF have an Okie license or not?
Pretty simple question and answer...b/c if not, then the local hero/expert has been breaking game laws.
I didn't see his name nor phone number on the link to licensed guides in OK.
If I'm a hater b/c I believe people should obey game laws, then nominate me for "Hater of the Year".
Crackerbait: Hater Of The Year Award(My finger is covering up my address) Congrats dude. You win the title, and not because you believe people should obey game laws, a feeling we share, because you are accusing people of disobeying game laws without proof. There are a couple more that were runner ups, but you took the gold by nominating yourself. ---------------------------- If you are still not convinced by this than I encourage you, no I emplore you, to call the Oklahoma licensing board and check me out. If you find out I am not licensed than please, paste it all over this forum and anywhere else you please. I already know what you will find but since I know you won't come on here and admit you are wrong like a man,I will take your silence as an admition of guilt. Anything else you want to try to bash me about that you don't have the facts on? I follow the laws and I dont Lie, Cheat, or Steal. If you want to really talk, rather than hide behind your screen name, you are always welcome to call me. I have said that many times before and no one has had the sack to pick up the phone. I'll be waiting for that "I was wrong post...." but not holding my breath.

Well, he put up. Will the rest now shut up so we can get back to talking about FISHING, reading REPORTS and discussing what's been working without all the sophomoric, inaccurate personal attacks. We get it, y'all don't like him because you think he's stealing away some of your business.
As far as Carey disagreeing with Rob's fly choices, well, that's Carey's opinion based on his experience. Rob's a better known guide, been on ESPN and all, and he has a degree in entomology so he probably knows what bugs are in the river, but Carey's speaking from his successful experience on the river. Those flies may have worked for Rob, or he may be recommending them based on the bug population, but they didn't work for Carey.
FISH ON!!! ummmmm off

They all make trucks. What works for one doesn't work for others. POINT#3 - if you don't like Carey's posts and you see one started by Tarpon Fly don't click on it!!! Can't we all just get along???

TF
You win...you have your license and I'm I done here. I'm a hater. You called me out.
I'll go back to fishing and give up on cyber angling. I have a species list I'm working on and after getting LA reds and False Albies in NC earlier this fall, catching a wild steelhead, chasing bones in Turneffe, hooking a 25" cut/bow on the Yampa, I need to plan for 2011 and see if I can top last year.
Good luck gents and take care of the LMF...she needs a little TLC from time to time and maybe TF will be at the One Fly and show us how its done.
