 Went out for a nice day session and.....

... and caught a nice koi I met up with Pondbass around lunch today. I had prebaited the spot and they definitely were active when we got there. Despite dumping over 5lbs of range cubes the only fish that were caught were a yellow mudcat and a single koi... but it still was a good day. Pondbass blanked but I'm sure he'll get a nice one very soon.    I had 3 rigs out: -12lb mono hair rigged salty maize - one koi -12lb mono hair rigged salty maize - zero fish -6lb mono float rod - one yellow mudcat

Your phone got the better angle. Still an awesome fish! We saw enough crashing. I counted 15 individual fish in one little area crashing right on top of method balls. This place is worth coming back to!
