still havent made it to the state park but still catching a limit of trout out at plum lake!! they are getting smaller and a lil more picky!! was a good day this morning!!! heading out there with my daughter so hopefully we catch a double limit!!

Hello guys. I hope you all had a great new year. My son and I got new tubes and waders for Christmas and we are itching to go fishing. Saw a few guys out at Scotland but no one was catching any. How is everyone?

went to the river yesterday morning and my catfish reel broke!! thinking it was from the ice that formed when i would reel it in!! it was cold !!! i even had to build a lil fire to help keep me warm!!! but it was a a good fishing day!!! came home with 3 acts about 22" long!!

It was cold as a witches *** yesterday. Glad to hear you got a few Sam. I read that Pezz has been cat fishing as well.

We've been doing good! Catfish at buffalo slowed, trout fishing at Plum was good but the lake is going through its yearly change where the fish stop feeding and alot of them die. Went today and the seagulls are still all over picking off the smaller dying fish. I have no idea what causes it but it seems to happen every year.

I have heard from my Chinese connection that the crappie are starting to go through Scottland and Henrietta bridges but it was very hit or miss.

I have a couple probs with my boat before I use it again so the derrick crappie will have to wait.

You guys will love tube fishing. Buffalo is awesome since you can get out of the south wind and
fish the entire dam in calm water. Waurika is my favorite for tubing but Henrietta bridge is good also but the wind can be a pain. I think Shoshonee park would be really good in the winter but it scares the heck out me to kick around waist deep in that murky, gar, turtle, snake, trotline, dead pig, infested water, but there's tons of crappie in there. A bassbuster would kick butt there.

Bought me a new tube this past spring (pontoon type)and my son uses my old fishmaster and loves it. I tie a string between us in case something happens to him. I can't wait for spring!

Thanks Pezz. Did you get the one from Academy? I saw one I really liked at Cabellas but it was too high.

My son also said we need to try Buffalo. I can not make my self go to Shoshonee park in a tube. Your right too many snakes and other THINGS!!!

We have dropped about 15 trees so far and I will get a few more our when I can!!!

don't fish Plum Lake, it is getting wiped out from Golden Algae. I plan on going to Buffalo tomorrow before all hell freezes over. Where are you planning to go?

i hear it is just a chlorine leak!! still with the fish dying , it aint cool!!

went to the new lake and fished it a about an hour and a half and only got 2 bites the whole time!!
