This whole thing is a joke, it cost more energy to produce a gal of E10 than to produce a gal of gas. E10, E15, E85 is not the way to wean ourselves from oil. This scharade needs to stop. Not to mention what the ethanol farce is doing to the price of corn and the price of food. It needs to stop......Free natural gas!

What are the alternatives to using ethanol.
Saying ethanol free gas won't work. What are we going to.....what will replace ethanol since we are trying to remove MTBE's from gasoline.
Anyone have a real alternative better than ethanol?

signed. Not saying there is a reasonable alternative.
just need to keep Efree gas available if we can. And especially need to fight the risk of all stations only selling E15. That'll really be a bad deal.
