I am in the market for a good rain suit and I am looking for some first hand opinions. I am down to either the pro qualifier or the 100mph. Bass Pro has their pro qualifier suit on sale ($60 off for the complete suit). My question is do yall think the 100mph is really worth the extra money?

absolutely worth the extra money. you always get what you pay for in rain gear and binoculars.

after comparing these two, as well as numerous other options I decided to save up for the 100mph. Ive worn a borrowed set before, and it kept me bone dry and warm. I would certainly go 100mph out of those two choices.

i have the pro qualifier and havent had any problems staying dry and warm either. I can also use it year round unlike the 100mph suit.

Just so you get a vote the other way - I was trying to make the same decision couple of years ago and went with the proqualifier. While the 100mph one was warmer it seemed it might be too warm when its not winter. I can always put on more warm stuff under the rain suit in the winter. Keeping me dry I have no complaints about the pro qualifier suit. And it doubles as a wind breaker all year long.

I have the pro qualifier and I love it. It keeps me dry and warm. They sell a windstopper jacket that goes with it that is worth every penny. I use the windstopper jacket more than the rainsuit.

I have an old set from Cabelas that is the equivalent of the Pro Qualifier, and I use it year-round, and layer underneath it when it is cold. Works great for me. I do, however, plan on getting a set of 100MPH bibs, I find it is less convenient to layer on my bottom half than on the top.

I got Cabella's guide gear top and 100mph bibs for the bottoms. The best part of both.
