Best information and more accurate than any of the others. Watching for incoming inclimate weather is one of my job responsibilities and NOAA is always right.

Good topic... I always use The Weather Channel @ weather.com, but looking at some of the other sites in this thread, I like them better. Think I'll switch to NOAA or Intellicast. I'll have to search for a good weather app on my Android.

I've always found weatherunderground.com to be pretty accurate.

For you Fork guys, if you select Alba, Tx as your search criteria, the current conditions are from a (PWS) in Ray Branch on the lake. Doesn't get much better than that.

On my Fox 4 app you can select weather and then go to various airports and get the pressure. Only place I have found that tells you if it is dropping or rising.
I mostly fish Hubbard so the closest airport is Mesquite Regional.
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/basicwx/basicwx_wbg.phpAbove link will give a good idea of the short range forecast. it does show where and when to expect fronts and also pressure chancges. http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/nav_conus_pmsl.php?fday=3&fcolor=wbgAbove link gives the current thoughts on the 3 to 7 day forecast. Beware that forecast past 4 days are subject to change a good deal, especially during periods of active weather patterns. Case in point day 6 shows a very strong surface high building in. But what is not shown is there is a disturbance that could bring some precipitation in the Mon Tues time frame. Both of those sites originate from here. http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ Remember everyone, when looking at your wind speed forecast a 15 mph wind forecast can be greatly increased over a large lake due to the lack of friction over the water. So a 15 mph wind out of the NW could become 25 mph at times over a large NW to SW lake, like Fork. Hope that helps a bit
