Gentlemen, we are about a month away now.
I got my superdupers in gold and silver, 4 lb p-line ready for my symetre reel on a med-light pole.
Had great results with super dupers within a week of stocking, then powerbait seem to work better.
Any day now on the stocking schedule. Any trout fishers with some tips please post'em up.

Im looking forward to trout season as well! I had absolutely no luck last year at City Lake Park in Mesquite, but did quite well at Samuel Farms. floating powerbait was the trick for me

Same here, no luck at City Lake. I'll pass this year if they stock it. Had good luck at Ablon Park, Samuel Farms, and Towne Lake in McKinney. In McKinney it wasn't even fair, they fenced off a size of a swimming pool, LOL.

Last year was alot of fun. City Lake Mesquite was a beating...Hopefully Samuel Farms is productive again

And here I was thinking that I was the only one waiting for the schedule to go up. I check it just about everyday now. I got my first (3) Trout last year at Veterans park in White Settlement but I intend to do better this time. I actually caught all three of them on small Minnows and gave them away to another fisherman that day. Where's Samuel Farms?

Dang it, Samuel Farms was good last year. May have to hit up City Lake since it will be first to be stocked (Dec 1st).
