I would like to let all know that TarponFly's report is right on.My buddy & I spent Sunday on the LMF & let me tell ya,the bite was on & it was everywhere.120+ is no joke.We fished from sunrise to 3:30 & he alone had 75.I unfortunately didn't do as well but we still landed over 100 trout.Below the re-reg was incredible. They were jumping everywhere & hitting most anything we threw at em.My buddy even caught himself but that's a story for another day.
I had to call in sick. My arm is in a cast!!!

I don't know if I buy the 120 trout in one day unless you were fishing right where the trout truck had dumped that days trout.
Seems like a fishing story to me......

If you doubt him, hire him. I was up there with TBear70 on Sunday. The trout were everywhere. I am not much of a flyfisherman so I used the devils tackle (ultra light), floating a berkley honey worm under a indicator through the current. I alone landed 70 plus fish. I will be the first to say I doubted Carey's post, but my own experience proved him right.

its very possible; I was up there several years ago and was fishing at the base of the low water dam and i literally caught a fish every cast for several hours; most were 8-10 inch fish but some were 14-16 inch fish; all on a dark olive beadhead streamer; a friend that was fishing with me was matching me fish for fish. It was incredible; probably unbelievable for most folks, but it happened.-p-

Your math is right . Correct flies equals many fish. You need to add another 15 minutes due to we stayed till 5:15. -And if you do the math a bit deeper, it was a fish every 10 minutes per person (or less than). 120 Trout ------------ 10 hours = 600 minutes 600 minutes / 60 fish per person (60+60=120) = 10 minutes. 2 flies landing in an area thick with fish equals lots of fish. Were you guiding or fishing? I have never had a trout guide that spent as much time as I was fishing. Scouting, rigging, and netting fish especially at that catch rate generally take a pretty good amount of their time (of course if it is a float trip then they are steering the raft not fishing) Rick

1/2 day guideing, other half fishing on that report. I dont fish while guiding unless the client tells me to. If you question my abilities, hire me. If you dont learn anything or dont catch fish, you dont pay. (simple as that). But, it has never happened. My reports are how they happen on every trip I report, on every type of fish. I do this for a living 5 days or more a week all year, all over the place, in 2 diff states, and know what works and when and where. Obviously, some of you are having trouble catching fish or just plain dont fish (because your to busy typing BS on here) and come on here and question me all the time. Get off the couch and go fishing. I can understand that Im one of the only guides that reports amazing and exciting outings, no reason to question someone like that. I have never, ever, ever, had a bad trip w/ a client and they always give me props. Just like above, my client from that day came on here and backed the report up but you still just dont get it. So, here it is, Ill even make the words bigger for you to read: WE LANDED OVER 120+ FISH THAT DAY. ( I can put that in other languages as well if you still cant read it.) When I throw small flies, I use 2.5 lb tippit. When I throw Woolly Buggers, I use 3.5 lb tippit. -It does not take more than a minute to bring in a 12-15 inch stocker on 3.5 lb tippit. Wake up people, and go throw some flies around and quit being so jealous of what I can produce. Sometimes "some" you guys can be very rude and inconsiderate of others. It's plain just not nice. Click the blue link for info on how to actually fish for trout if you need it---> Click Here New report coming tomorrow night.

120 fish in a day. The most I think I have caught were 30-35. I was thrilled beyond belief to get that number. If I come into some money Carey, I am gonna hire you to teach me how to fish.

When I can afford to, I will take you up on it. But I think I need lessons for a few days...lol. You have the touch when it comes to fishing, that's for sure.

I cant wait to get the money to hire Carey for a trip, talked to some of the people he has taken out and all of them have had a blast and learned a lot as well as caught a ton of fish.I am wanting to go with him o LMfr with the wife and son so he can show us how it is done.

I think the questioning comes in when you land 120+ trout with a guy you just taught to ROLLCAST that AM, on a half day guide trip with the report written as a full day trip. Never had a bad day with a client either? You are correct sir, you are the only Guide I know that would report he has never had a bad trip. "I can understand that Im one of the only guides that reports amazing and exciting outings, no reason to question someone like that." Exactly the reason to question someone like that. Rick

So not only are you using this huge chip on your shoulder to denigrate me, but you are also calling my client, and his friends, liars as well? Above you will see that my client, as well as his friends who were also present at the river to bear witness, all recount the exact same turn of events, otherwise known as the truth. I realize that you have a some adolescent, unfounded, jealous grudge against me, and that's fine I suppose I can handle it, but do you really have to call other TFF members liars as well? I will ask you this smaller favor...leave other members out of this. You have no right to question their integrity.
