I've been gettin my daily trout limit (5) at plum lake, more if my kids go. Also have had the lake all to myself the past few days.

been there a few times already and been catching a limit!!! yesterday eve didnt to good!!! lost 3 came home with 2!!! lost 2 at the bank and one broke my line as i was setting the hook!!

i should be out there this evening!!

i haven't had the lake to my self but has not been very many people fishing!! or catching!!! theses guys tried to tell me the fishing want to good last night!! but i stayted anyway!!! they said they been out there for a few hours and only caught on fish!! i was out theere an hour and hooked 5!! lost 3!!

I caught 5 but missed about 10, I fish on the highway side. Going Again today with my son before his boyscout meeting. Should be there by 4.

What time of day have y'all been catching the trout? I've been out to the new pond on Southwest Parkway a few times with mixed results. Didn't do any good the first evening I went out. The second time, I went during the middle of the day and caught my limit using bobbers. Went out again in the middle of the day and couldn't get a nibble on top or bottom. Having a hard time figuring out what the heck these fish are doing.

I don't use bobbers, I fish off the bottom with my hook about 18" above sinker, use cheap biscuit dough no cheese or buttermilk, just plain dough, when you just open the can it may bee too moist, just let it set out for a while. Knead it with your fingers on the hook in little balls and check it often because it falls of pretty fast. Or you can spend a fortune like me and use power bait. I will go to the dough, Ive used 3 jars of power bait in two weeks. I didn't know they stocked that pond. I bet money this is the last year the poor side of town gets stocked with trout. if you see a camo toyota say hi.

I catchthen all day long!!! Morning noon and early eve!!! I do like pezz and fish off the bottom!! Sinke and hook at the end of my line!! I been doing real good with corn and power bait. Mostly corn not many nibbles on the dough yet!! Power bait is great too. I did pretty good with the buttermilk dough last season

Haven't done any good fishing at night!! Not a nibble but I been on here asking and have a few new tricks to try in the late evening

At sunset they must go to the cantina and get boozed up, and pass out till sunrise cause they WILL NOT BITE in the dark. Or maybe they get a little sumtn-sumtn and sleep in peace.

i have caught 2 at night!! one night me and my son went fishing and caught 2 fish!! a trout that ate both hooks and a real nice 14" catfish (real nice for plum i think IMO) there are tricks to catching them at night!!! just gotta figure it out!!

so how many did you end up leaving with pezz???

i went out this morning and caught a limit!!but then had some friends come to town and wanted to catch some!!man it sucks being out there not being able to fish!! we ended up leaving with 4 good size ones!!

That last fish took about an hour since I just kept missing them. We finally caught the 10th as you were walking away. You were smart by not fishing or the game warden would of came out of hiding. Won't get out there till 1pm then 3-4pm weekdays till the crappie start running at Scotland bridge which might be a good idea to go check after work sometime this week.

i was out there last weekend!! well the state park!!! some one said they were back, but went out there and nothing not even a bite!! please let me kow if you do any god with the crappie! i cant wait for it to start up again this season!

ya it aint worth the hassle or ticket for being greedy!! besides it annoys me when there are people out there with 6 poles and way to many fish!!! i normally say something to those people!! so i try to stay with in the rules.

Heard it was good also. the man told me to put a minnow about 1/2 a foot from the bottom and a split shot right above the minnow. said hes reelin em in good!
