That threw away his broken Falcon Ultra-lite: thank you! I pulled it out, took it to Academy and they exchanged it no questions asked. Shame I didn't think of it while you were there, but one of the workers said that's how he ended up with 30-some rods behind the counter.
Ya'll, before ya toss a $69.99 rod, try taking back first.

Nah, they've been that way since they opened. If they ever sold it, they'll take it back. Same with Bass Pro.

wat about electronics bout a year old and no recipt? Electronics may be a different story. I've seen Bass Pro take back rod with a broken tip that was over 10 years old, but I don't know about electronics. I know if you stand there at the returns desk and complain loud enough, they'll take back most anything to keep from having a scene right there in the front atrium.
