Had the privilage of meeting some of you guys not too long ago for the charity/fundraiser. Weather is great, lets do some fishing! Anyone open to getting together for a tournament? Ideas are : bank or boat fishing welcome, random teams, big fish pot, overall weight pot, fish fry, etc. Give me some feedback. Everyone welcome.

Hey mike no boat is ok and i figured if we can get a few single boaters like myself we can team up with guys w/ no boat, or if they prefer the bank thats cool too. Im just throwing the idea out there right now. If Tom could make it out we can have him hold the money since everyone knows him...

That's a great idea, tho I did hook up on a big one off the bank the other day, snapped off 25 mono. Second time its happened in 2 weeks. I guess its time to string up new string

Sounds good, got a tourney at Lavon the 20th other than that I'm in if I aint got to work when you have it, seems like we only work on Saturdays when I have plans!!!
Did you see any yeller fish on the HDS-5

sounds good but november and december is tough due to tournys and thanksgiving in november and tournys and Christmas in december. thats why we usually have them in the spring and early summer.

Larry your settings were a big help. I did get some good arches and Tom pointed out to slow the ping while drifting. Worked great. I def want you out there so we ll do it on a day you can make it. Days are open make a suggestion.
Mike - Power Pro Braid 50# is the solution haha

How about these dates: Nov 7, Nov 13, Nov 14, Nov 21, Nov 26 - Day after Thanksgiving? 27th or 28th. Long weekend ill be fishing for sure. Might be too cold in dec. for some... Entry fee can be $5 or $10 per person or $20 for teams. Extra $5 for big fish pot.
