Nothing Else Considered except the (dry) ride and handling in rough water - what is the best rough water and dry ride boat in your opinion ?

The one with a good rough water driver.
Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

Champion. Naturally a good driver makes a difference with any boat but the design of the boat makes a HUGE difference also.

It's been discussed a zillion times. Champion is the name that comes up most.
The Sheep who only fears the Wolf is eaten by the Shepherd.

Champion is the name that pops up most often but not the newer wide body's. The old style 201 or 202 hulls were the best in rough water because they were narrow with deep vees and rounded off bottoms. The trade off is that they leaned like a canoe with three guys standing on one side....
Its like a water balloon. You squeeze one end to make it smaller and the other end gets bigger. Trade offs....

This should be good......

None. Bassboats don't take big water that well. Get a offshore boat if you want a smooth ride in big water.
