Great job Kent. I've had the opportunity to fish with Kent and his dad Pat probably 5 or 6 times. I'm amazed at how far he has progressed as a fisherman in a short amount of time. Kent has a bright future for sure. Not only is he a great fisherman, Kent is a mans man. He's polite, humble, hard working, and very mature for his age and I have high hopes for him. Don't forget to give his dad Pat a lot of credit to. He has spent a lot of time with Kent not only teaching him how to be a great fisherman but he has done a good job teaching Kent how to conduct himself and be polite and respectful to others on and off the water.

I too have fished with Kent and Pat a bunch. A finer young man, father and family you will never meet. I have high hopes for Kent too, Brooks. The young man has all the tools and mechanics to be great. He has that burning desire to win every single time he's on the water. He is dedicated to becoming better with every outing and is a sponge for knowledge. He's also very smart and learns quickly.

Bt what really sets Kent apart is his how genuinely humble, polite and respectful he is. People just love to see young folks like him succeed. And succeed he will. I'm sure of it.

Thanks so much guys but I don't deserve any kudos, I just took the little dude fishing. What could be more fun for a dad? If there is any credit to be given, it probably needs to go to Moma. My standard answer is always "That's not my department. I am in charge or P.E.".

But Kent has always been an easy one anyway. He has never been any trouble, especially since he discovered fishing. Since then it's just, "this needs to be done by Saturday or no fishing." lol He has never missed a fishing trip.

Great job Kent you really showed us older guys how to fish-I spoke with you and your dad after the tournament-I was fishing the same pocket you were stuck on that sand bar and caught a fish with just a few minutes to go and squeked out a 11th place check.Good luck in the future and keep on fishin!
