I just go to the Horizon Bay parking lot and there is a white gazebo behind the building. Bring you a couple of poles because they will hit it from about 5 30 till the sun goes down!

The Wichita River below the Lake Kemp dam is about 25 miles south. That's the only one I know of. The Red doesn't have any public entrances.

Wichita River fishing report: Sam got there at 6 am and did good with a nice string of catfish. On shrimp. About two meals worth. Pezz and his son Ian, and I, we came in about 8 am and went home with surrender on our face. I got one 10 pounder off of limb lines Sunday evening during the THIRD trip out there.

We went to Kickapoo Barge today and caught many crappie but no keepers. Others were doing good catfishing. I haven't been there in about 14 years. They now sell bait on the barge, any bait you want, minnows and snacks. Still cheaper if you BYOBait but it's there if you run out. Good people and really enjoyed the day.

We spent the afternoon at Henrietta bridge and never had a bite. We were crappie fishing with minnows and jigs. Somethings gotta give..... I'm out of fish.

Guess I could try the Holiday inn express, still have minnows left.

A friend at work said his dad got run off by some joggers before he could get a line in. I think I'll make my son wear his cub scout uniform, surely they won't harass us.
