well at least it wasnt a total loss!! one is better then none!!

I've been out @ the Henrietta Bridge Sat...excellent, Mon..very weak..yesterday was excellent. I was tight lining on minnows and relaxing. They were hitting strong on black jig with chartreuse umbrella's as well.

I was in 12'-14' of water with a crappie rig w/minnows 1' off the bottom.

Is morning or night better? I have a parent thing in the morning, but tomorrow night sound good.

the bite is usually better in the morning but I'm hearing that in the last few days they've moved in even closer on the dam about 15'-20' out from the bank at the drop off..morning and night. I'm going next week.

Had a blast here in Mississippi. Went to he pier and talked to A few local fisherman catching live fresh shrimp and flounders. Made me wish i would have brought my poles like I wanted too!!' saw Capt. Ron. Lol. Some of the boat capt said they have been guiding or fishing. Been working for BP. We were digging in the sand and it was real dark under the white sandy top. And it stunk like sulfer or something.

went out this morning to the fishing pier and got a few nibbles but nothing wanted to commit!! this guy there was catching some small reall small cats and sandies

then after about 3 hours of that went to the hen bridge, sat there for about 2-3 hours and finally caught a 13' crappie!! 2 guys in a boat and snaked my spot kinda and they caught aout 5 the first 30 minutes!!! i just couldnt get my slipp bobber set up close enough cuz of their boat!! a- holes i even hit their boat a few times!! with my wights!!
