Thanks guys. It definately fought to the finish. It barely fit in the net! Pulled me around for a bit, and I was glad I was using the 7' Extra Heavy Carrot Stix with 30lb braid and a 5/0 hook! My dad took his boat too and we caught quite a few others and kept some smaller ones to cook (I had some fresh fried bass last night) I also caught an 8 pounder the night before FROM THE BANK lol!

I forgot that I left out the details, it weighed in at 11 lbs. 7 oz. and was 27 1/4 inches long!
