How many of you fish tournaments with your spouse?

Took the wife out today and she flat wore me out, caught some really nice fish in areas I wasn't even getting bit. I'm proud of her, and it got me to thinking about inviting her a little more often!!

I'm hoping to get my wife to tourney fish with me. She liked getting out in her step dads lil bass buster. Hopefully now that I got a bass boat she'll want go more. Now I just have to finish fixing her up.

I fish with mine. Go to Sam Rayburn next weekend(OCT. 23,24) . You will see well over a hundred couples fishing together.

I love bass fishing with my wife. We just use a little 12 foot porta-bote its awesome, we have a blast. I really enjoy when she catches big fish.

My wife is my partner for our club tournaments and most of my other trips. I won't say anything about how many times she has kicked my butt. I just like to think of it as me being a really good guide. Her PB is a 10.8 from Ivie a few years ago.

My wife has been fishing tournaments with me for 5 years, she loves it.

i fish with mine, and it seems that i'd rather have her than anybody else as my partner , and we'll be on rayburn on the 23 and 24 C.A.S.T. together and i hope she kicks my butt !!!

I fish with mine and really enjoy when she catches fish. She likes to dance on the boat. Fishing with mine at the CAST championship next weekend.

Thats awesome Clint. Great to hear. Thanks to so many trips to Fork my wife is starting to talk about fishing asome smaller tournaments with me. Gotta admit I am excited about that. Can't think of many people I'd rather share a boat with.

my wife always out fishes me.I think thats why she likes to go, so she can rub it in my face when anyone asks how the fishing is going.,,lol

My wife is finally starting to get the hang of things. We've always fished together, but this year she has realy came along. Now she can flip, underhand cast, drive the boat, and work the trolling motor. She all ready said if we could fish some tournaments together next year and I said heck yea. We are going to try to go watch the CAST weighin next Sunday on SR. I am realy hoping that will get her blood going. Thanks this is arealy need thread!!

My wife wants to fish tournaments and if I get comfortable keeping fish alive in my boat we may try it. She has outfished me several times, she cant stand it when I out fish her she is very competitive and hates to lose even to me.

I have the opposite problem.

I can't get my husband to fish.

My wife fished with me until we were married. It all stopped then. I hate it. We had such a good time on the water or at least I thought we did. We recently had a baby (9mo). I decided if she wouldn't fish with me I would just make my own fishin buddy. He's already got his first rod/reel. Autographs from KVD and Kelly J. He's "hooked" and doesn't even know it!!!
