Robin; the small ones up front are punched out with a paper punch; the larger ones in the back are 5/16. No tye much made me some cutters years ago to punch em out with. That's a streamer hook, size 8 4x i think. A guy over on ultralight is gonna do a step by step; thing about it is there's lots of variations. Like, I took a slim piece (1/8 inch wide) of 1.5 mm foam and spiraled around the hook shank before I put the discs on to keep them from crossing underneath; came out pretty good; brim and yearling bass ought to love em-p-

Rubber leg wooly buggers I tyed up for Steelhead. Palmered hackle in the front to keep them back. Tyed on size 2-6 streamer hooks 3x-6x long extra heavy. They also work great for Salmon, Bass, Pike, Trout and Panfish (when tyed smaller). I tye up a bunch since my uncle is a guide and takes most of them from me lol. Thanks for letting me share some pics. Hope it's okay with everyone to post this many pics.

Tight lines,

Ricky V.

STILL HAVING TO GLUE SOME HEADS UP ON THESE AND TRIM THE THREAD.

More flies. Tying up Wooly Buggers.
The madness of us fly tyers lol!

Glo Bugs before dotting them up for winter Steelhead.
Tyed on Tiemco 2457 hook size 6-8 extra heavy.

Damsel flies.

Local baitfish.

Eccentric looking Mickey Finn streamers, Black Nose Dace (without red butt tag) and a flying ant my wife tyed up. Red, black and yellow tyed with yellow marabou under wing.

BEFORE GLUING UP THE HEADS.
Steelhead and Salmon fly patterns. Hot glue egg - egg sucking bunny leeches, purple egg sucking leeches, comets, bombers, buggers and other flies.

Hot glue eggs for Salmon.
Tyed on Tiemco 2457 size 8 extra heavy wire.

Last set of pics. Hope it's okay to share this many pics on here. Always had to take a lot of pics of stuff I tyed to send to my uncle before coming up to visit and fish on the rivers. Had to make sure his order was filled lol. The man spends too much time guiding and not enough time tying.

Sculpins tyed up on Fish Skulls Sculpin heads and a Bunny Streamer. Had to trim up the sides a little to get them equal.

Tying up a baitfish pattern. Had to take off the eyes and pull the lateral line of flash up before re-attaching the eyes and adding some softex to the head area. Bent the hook shank near the eye and tyed it hook point up.

Yes I know it's a jig and not a fly. But I tied it.

This was my first attempt at tying. I call it "Lil Stinker" Not only because it looks like a skunk but is also made of skunk fur (clothing grade). I'm learning fly fishing so tying flys seemed like a common sense way to pass time and find use for idol hands. I'll be tying flys and jigs for my kayak runs down the Colorado river around Bend Tx.
