Man I love this lake! Fished a full day yesterday with LFG Jason Hoffman and caught my new personal best! 22 inch, 8lb 7oz toad and I’m still smiling! It was a great day on the water. We caught countless small fish in the 10-15 inch range with 8-10 3-4lb fish mixed in. Tons of sand bass too, which I’ve never seen in 5 years of fishing Fork. We were in a pocket of what I thought was all small fish catching one after another when WHAM, the big girl bit! It goes to show you that on Fork, your next cast could be the one. Thanks to Jason for a great trip! Give him a call if you are looking for a great guide who will put you on the fish!

I've been hearing more and more people talking about catching sand bass in Fork? I didn't think that sandbass was in that lake, just the yellow "bar fish"..? Where did they come from?
