i think someone did some title magic if its old enough it may have not come with a title and someone just called it that when it came time to title a boat by state law,ive never heard of a roadrunner boat , not saying it its not one but pics would really help

A lot of those old boats have pretty distinctive hull designs. Once you can post pics, there are enough old guys on here that should be able to identify. I have never heard of a Roadrunner boat, even though I had a Roadrunner trailer under a 1975 Ranger 155A.

Pat, I remember the Goin Jesse. The one I remember had a steering wheel up front. I was a member of the Irving bass club in the mid 70's and there were a couple of those, a Rebel, a Parker, a Sidewinder, and a PowerCat. Lot of obscure brands back in the day.

If they did some title magic, they also had the picture magic and pin-striping magic to go with it. The boat has the pinstripes that lead into a pic of the Cartoon RoadRunner on both sides and is of pretty high quality.

I may just go buy another digital camera and I'll get these pics posted for you guys.

I appreciate the help.

I don't know what's up w/ my computer. I even put the pics on a disc and tried to upoad them from there and it still won't work.

If anyone knows a little about computers, gimme a call.

Anyhow, I've got the new marine-grade floor in and fiberglassed in and I've got the top cap re-coated. I've got to work the transom and figure out what I wanna do with the floor - carpet or paint? Then, I can put pedestals and console back in and start working on the accessories (lights, bilge, T.M) etc.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do on the motor - have it checked out to see if it will run, or just put a couple hundred bucks into another. Anybody looking for a challenge and ready to take on exploratory project on a 1974 Merc 50HP???

If you guys have any suggestions, post'em up! I'm always open for helpful suggestions.

Anybody that thought they could pop a hull had a boat company in the 80's-usually just copied (splashed) one off of someone elses boat....I do think that boat you originally asked about was built in San Angelo but maybe it was marketed by the San Angelo Company since they were building trailers anyway....

You may be right, because I can't find anybody that remembers anything about this boat. I'm 100% sure that the trailer was made in San Angelo. I'll get some pics up soon.

I worked on a couple back in the late 80's, and was told at that time they were built in n/w Texas. Long and skinny, stick steer models made to navigate the Lake Fork stump fields.
