The quality of this lakes fish is simply amazing for a hillcountry lake. I love catching solid fish out of Clear watr rocky lakes. Thats why I love Amistad so much! Dunlap is closer to my house though.

However, I am a little upset to hear yall say there are a lot of skiers out there. Cant we have anything to ourselves anmore?(L0L)

Its not like skiers took it away from fishermen. People have probably been skiing Dunlap, McQ, & Placid before anyone ever wet a line. That is the kind of attitude that causes trouble. They aren't doing the sport that you like so they automatically suck & ruin everything for you? Throughout your 4 different screen names on this site, all you do is complain about the same things. You are not fooling anybody

Who crapped in your wheaties? Besides skiers on Upper GBRA lakes have a tendency to exhibit actions that in my mind boader "Harassment" of Sportsmen. I'm not advocating fishing only regulations, but I certainly can sympathize with anyone who has a bad taste in their mouth regarding "skiers".

My problem is when you burn through 4 screen names & all you do is complain about EVERYBODY & EVERYTHING ruining your fishing. It gets old. Just to name a few actual rants this guy has been on regarding ruining his lakes & fishing, there are.....skiers, duck hunters, the city of Corpus Christi, TX, the shrimping business, too much rain, too little rain, pirates, tournament fishermen, too many out of towners coming to his secret lake (choke), concussions from shotgun blasts, etc. I am not making a single one of these "rants" up

B-Bop, I'm going to guess that you are one of the "tough guy heroes" that will throw a lure with hooks at a skier or jet-skiier?

Hey "flippenmeskeeterloopty" I have been fishing a very long time and I have always heard about the skiers and jet skiers causing wakes and so forth and yes I have had my fare share of putting up with the skiers as well. This is just all part of fishing. For the most part everyone does get along and yes the lakes belong to all. Heck in the perfect world the skiers and anglers would have their own private lake and all would be fine. I would suggest to you that most everyone on this forum is a hard working, honest law biding person, who enjoys the outdoors and loves to fish. Don't take the skiing remarks personal. This is a "fishing forum" not a "skiing" forum. Again lighten up.
