Here is the In's and Out's of Settings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV-Rh8wXTY0

I don't change much if any for water color or depth. Pretty much 2 or 3 on scroll speed and 8-12 on Sensitivity...just depend more on bottom hardness to see the details in structure changes.

I will but want to give others a chance to test their skills. I will mark up the image so you can learn...Is it ok to give it couple days so everyone can learn???

Hint: the bass are above the grass...

Right side on the upper half of the screen. You almost ran over them. Left side it appears there are three in the middle of the screen.

Awesome. Doug, what is your sensitivity set on in this picture? Also, is that a different type of grass or structure to the left of your position?

This is Milfoil on the left and Rocks on the Right then drops in creek channel. I was running scroll speed at 3 and Sensitivity at 10.

What I see at the bottom of the screen is a gradual drop into a fairly shallow creek (or is this just a minor change in depth with the creek dropping off to the right of the rocks?) with grass along the drop. It looks like you crossed over the grass with the boat. Correct? You should smoke em in a spot like this, especially with a little wind on it. Also about mid ways up the screen, it looks like the rocks extend just to the tip of the grass across the boat path.

Ther is no up unless you count the center line. Side imaging is shooting out the side. Imagine lying on your side looking across the water and then slowly sinking to the bottom still looking. Or imagine the screen being folded in the middle. The white dots between what you see as the bottom and the surface leave a shadow and are suspended. The dots on the outside part of the screen with no shadows are close to bottom.
