Here's a Interpretation of the image and where the Fish are. Just because you see a pretty picture you need to explore the image further to see the details and focus on what you really want to find and that is the fish. Notice the shadows give them away on top of the grass.

daman, looked like a blur to mee i was thinking they were on the right. This color scheme not what you usually post.

Can you still change the color palete and post? I would like to see the others if possible.

Thanks,
Donnie

Once you save the the screen capture you can't change the color pallete...you can if you do recordings. I was playing with the Brown Color Pallete the other night so this is all I got. I personally like the Blue myself too but Humminbird offers a huge array of colors to choose from that best matches your eyes.

Doug, what speed do you go if you are trying to get clear pictures.

Like speed of the boat.

Thanks

Matt

The white marks on the rocks are the hard surface return, note the shadow behind them. You get the same thing on bridge pilings(concrete). Pretty cool pic, but I had to look for the fish!!

If you look closely at the rocks/riprap they have alot of flat surfaces when SI hit's a vertical flat surface it creates a very strong return. What you are seeing is the vertical flat surface in the rock pile.

Went out today and made adjustments after watching Doug's video on youtube. Holy Cow! Big time change in what I am able to see. My chart speed was set on 8 & changed it to 3
( speed of the boat) - made all the difference in the world. Then I toyed with the Enhance some. Great video, Doug, Thanks.

Glad it helped. Humminbird is very easy to set-up when you understand the settings and where to start and why to make the simple adjustments to Maximize the data it returns. Glad the Video Clip helped.

Where is the Video, on your site. Did not see it, but will look again.

I read the HB Manual cover to cover, but want to learn more. I have an 1197 but want to increase my efficient time with it.
