Truthfully, pit vipers develop eggs inside their body but the eggs hatch inside. The snake's body absorbs the soft shells rather than expel them.

I killed a rattler this spring than then proceeded to have babies about 15 minutes later. I think there were 12 of them if I remember right

Wow.. This year has been one of the Copperhead, my sister-in-law was bitten in June. My neighbor at Fork was bitten in early July.
TommyC, here on the Forum has killed 10-12 of them this year around his house.. Whatz-up with these things ???

You need to show these pictures to the waterheads on here that say..."dont shoot the snakes they have a purpose" eeks...They do, die when you see them! nuts
