I think it must be some kind of mutant Crappie.

We fished Saturday evening from around 4:00 till dark, only crappie fished two spots close to the house for about 1/2 the time and then found some schooling Sand Bass & Hybrids on a main lake point that took up the rest of our daylight, ended up with four Crappie, 10 or so nice Sand Bass (released) & two small to medium Hybrids (also released)

We only had a few hours to fish on Sunday since the Cowboy's where playing at noon, the bite was very light & you had to be right up against the brush to get bit but we caught 8 good keepers before we had to head in, watched the boy's stomp the Texans & had fresh Crappie Vera Cruz for dinner. The fish were still slow for us, but better than two weeks ago. I think it's gonna be great this next weekend. All Crappie (including the mutant) were caught on hand tied Jigs.

What You Need
1/2 cup KRAFT Sun-Dried Tomato Dressing
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
4 tilapia fillets (1 lb.)
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup pimiento stuffed green olives, halved
3/4 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
Make It

HEAT oven to 400�F.

MIX dressing and juice. Place fish in 13x9-inch baking dish; drizzle with 1/2 the dressing mixture. Toss tomatoes and olives with remaining dressing mixture.

BAKE fish 20 min.; top with tomato mixture and cheese. Bake 5-8 min. or until cheese is melted and fish flakes easily with fork.

SPRINKLE with cilantro.

I have not been able to find the sun dried tomato dressing so I just take 1/2 cup of a mild picante sauce, add 1/4 cup vegetable oil & some cilantro to make my dressing. The only other thing I do different is put some chopped onion on top before I put it in the oven. Y'all are gonna love this recipe. Be sure to wait on the olives, tomatoes & 2nd half of dressing mixture & cheese for the last 5-8 minutes
