If I bought one of these, where can I go to fish with it at? I am new to Houston. I always go night fishing at Surfside Jetty. Where can I go that has easy access to flat to use this flatstalker? Could you please be detailed with directions, land marks, etc.

I have been considering both one of these and a WaveWalk W500. WHat I don't like about the FlatsStalker is the weight and WET FEET. As for where to go - anywhere there is a kayak launch area will do fine and there are flats everywhere. BTW - they launch the W500 in the surf. I have just about saved the $$$$ for a W500.

Or I could get me a kayak and add a trolling motor on it.

Is there any marsh areas to fish at near freeport where I could launch the flatstalker or kayak?

OR you could go to www.CorpusFishing.com and go to their Great Fishing Books page and order the book "Wade and Kayak Fishing of The Upper Texas Coast". If you want to know of about Port A and South you order the same book for the Coastal Bend. If you get one of these books, you won't need to ask questions OR you can ask specific questions. Trying to tell a person what takes a 3/4 inch thick book to write about isn't really possible. The Upper Coast is a BIG PLACE.
