I like it except, when going through rough water, the tops of the packages get ripped.

you need to double fold the tops of the packages. i used to just keep the packages open, and run the clip down past the ziplock part. really helped em stay in the clips.

How well does this system hold the bags and the jigs in place? I'm wondering about when I hit a pretty big wake and boat hits hard does these items stay in place?

Do you have to screw directly to the lid or is that what the pads are for.

Looks like you glue the pads down then screw into those right???

I have one in my boat and it works good. I wanted another but the price stopped me. I located a strip of aluminum 3/4" wide and 1/8" or so thick. I went to Office Max and bought name badge clips and made my own. Won't rust and very cheap. Works just as good.

The pads are sticky on the back.. you dont have to screw the rails in place they attach to the little pads.. Great system and Bob is a great guy
