 Fishing last night

Chickenfrie, my girlfriend and i went fishing all over the place last night. Started out at Lavon dam and i caught a channel chat and that was it for there. Then we decided to go out to the old lewisville dam and fish there. I caught 2 more channels and Chicken caught one also. last catch i had was a decent size cottonmouth snake, managed to get the hook out of its mouth without to much harm to it. also while catching bait we caught a baby alligator gar. Snake:  Gar:

Hope your girlfriend still likes fishing after catching that snake. Good job seems like you guys stayed with it.

i actually caught it last night, i was surprised when i reeled it in and it had my 8# circle hook in its mouth

Walleye. They were stocked in the lake a long time ago. Every now and then you will catch one.

i have caught several of the "logperch" in the castnet and didnt know what they were. strange thing is i have never seen one any bigger than the one you caught.
