^ i think you missed that lol.. there are people that will actually cut fillets of the cats as soon as they catch them, then watch them swin away with no meat on them. Never saw that. References ?

No, I got the humor, I'm just more of a "catch and eat" type catfishing guy. But it just kind of reminded me of an old Far Side cartoon "Boneless Chicken Ranch". If you haven't seen it, just let it sink in for a minute or two.....you will.

If you are not like Tom and you catch some smaller fish try the " half filet method"...filet one side and then turn the fish over and skin the other side and cut the head off-it fries up really crisp and has great flavor-learned it from a guide at Amistad years ago...
