where in the motor is the water pressure guage "tapped in ? hopefully in the top of block to poppit drain,, I have seen some installation into the "pee-line "(wrong place)

Pressure gauge is tapped in at the hose that comes from top of #1 cylinder head. came that way when i bought the boat. Have installed new water pressure gauge since then.

Those numbers are fine. And remember that you have a temp sensor that will put the motor in gauardian if you do overheat. Most guages wont even read at idle. Once you crack past 1200-1500 rpm those guages will pick up. And those guages you have are most likley analog so they are usually off several psi.
