 how many rods/reels to you carry?

I need to settle a disagreemen me and a buddy are having. He says that I carry too many set-ups with me. How many rod/reel combos do yall carry in your boat with you? doesnt matter whether its fun fishing or tourneys.

I just have like 10 that i carry. But i know folks that have 15 to 20.

As many as I can fit in one rod locker and on deck. The other rod locker is storage

7 or 8 usually, any more than that and it seems like they just get in my way.

With my fishing the Pro-Am circuit, I have narrowed the amount of rods/reels I carry to 6, that way it doesn't make for a mess on the side of the boat by the seat. Any more than that just causes a headache on my part. I also have conversation with my Pro to understand the nature of what area and style of fishing we are planning to be doing that helps with the decision on which ords/reels I bring.

I carry 18-20 in the boat, but try hard to limit myself to 8 on the deck. If I go as a non-boater I try to limit myself to 4 or 5.
