I wonder if that law that says it's illegal to harass a legal fisherman, would apply to tree hugging internet idiots. I think someone who comes on a fishing forum and cry about the poor fishies being caught, has a serous mental issue and deserves all the grief he gets for being an idiot. This is the best post I have ever seen on TFF. "Fish Huggers" and their supporters are making TFF look more like PETA everyday, my Grandfather would be ashamed. it would be different if we lived in siberia where in the winter you can't thrive unless you've got very large amounts of meat to go through the winter well we people who catch fish and eat them don't waste our catch, and it doesn't really matter how many perch crappie or whatever we take as long as it's in the limit cause there are thousands of crappie and what is it going to do to the population to take a couple hundred out, there are always fish that spawn out more then we can catch so what difference does it make.

I plan to fish this afternoon. I would like to get me a limit of big ol fat crappies. I don't give a big fat rats a#% what anyone thinks about it. Tomorrow and Sunday I plan to do it again. And when it gets really cold.. No telling how many bigguns, I'll post pictures of just before they hit the kanife!!! May eat 'em, may freeze 'em. I don't suggest anyone on the banks or anywhere else to try and stop me. You have your right to your opinion, but you also have a right to keep it to yourself. There is a time and place and some who want to hear it and some who don't care. Come Spawn this next spring I intend to have a bunch of these to bring home to the fast moving filet knife.. yup what he said. or in other words, it'll eat
yup if ye aint been skunked, ye aint been fishing! <<al einstene IAMCOUNTRY texas made lures. getcha some

If his eye pops out out no problem, I don't eat the eyes. They're not bad but you gotta cook 'em well done. Otherwise you get that whole "squirtin' eyeball" thing every time.

Lovfldx- Enjoyed the post and pics. Thanks for sharing.
On my end, I'm grateful Washington and Idaho don't have creel limits on yellow lake perch or bluegills... and crappie for the most part. I hate going out and catching one or two fish (trout or salmon), hitting the creel limit and then you're done for the day.

Rudy Please catch some for me..... Release 'em to the grease as 'gills are some of the best eating fish out there. I like to think that's why the Great Provider put so many of 'em out there.

I bow fish for carp and gar, both are good eating and I always eat everything I shoot. Some fishermen turn up their noses at carp and gar but then in Colorado when I said I ate catfish you would have thought I said dog. By the way, dog is a bit greasy but good eating just ask Louis and Clark or any old school Apache. The old adage persists," Birds of a feather flock together"..... it would seem that some of you "birds" suffer from a low IQ so this will be my last post because I can not cure "stupid" and I will flock with birds of a different feather. Wylie and mell, keep setting those barbed hooks hard, time and evolution will take care of your type. Ladies, have a nice day.

Wow. It normally takes a lot for me to say any thing negative about anyone or anything but your last comet Mr. Patterson takes the cake. I have been part of this forum a long time. I mainly read and learn. Most of these anglers here are the most outstanding people god as made. Their knowledge is also extreme. I have also seen on countless times the anglers on this forum going out of their way to help people they don't even know. By calling some of us ladies with low IQ's is an insult especially when you don't know em. You Mr. Patterson need to seek some help. I am glad you have put your part to rest.

Wylie and mell, keep setting those barbed hooks hard, time and evolution will take care of your type. Ladies, have a nice day. Patt, "evolution", has been trying to cull my type forever but has only been successful at culling the weaker type such as yourself. My God said to worship the creator, not the creature. I do. The weaker birds have been coming up with their "save the earth" mantra along with PETA and their long list of morons for a few years. Fact is, they, like you, are drinkin the Kool-aid that the Al Gores have been selling for some time now. "Save the white bear", "the baby seals", and telling children that their hunter daddy's are murderers for too long. Men have been eating animals since shortly after God breathed the 1st breath into one. It's pathetic. Yet you think you have some higher IQ. You might. But, from where I sit, I kinda doubt it. That's the problem with snobs. When someone thinks they have the best interest at heart, anyone who disagrees with them is by default, less intelligent. Thus the high intellect name calling and assuming you flock with a better bird. I assure you that you do not. I do wish you good luck with that flock, from what I have read so far, another bird will have to lead it.
